The City of Bradenton’s annual budget is structured to support the services required to maintain a city of more than 50,000 residents. Fewer than 500 City employees provide these services which include public safety (police and fire), community development, planning and zoning, water & sewer utilities, sanitation, landscape and grounds, and street maintenance.

 

Part of the responsibility of the City Clerk & Treasurer is to ensure that every department’s budget is administered in a professional manner and is in line with the priorities set by the City Council. To that end, the City of Bradenton budgetary information is presented below.
